Role Overview: We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Retention Manager for CashKaro. The ideal candidate should have 4-7 years of experience in retention management, with proven experience in driving significant revenue or customer experience improvement via strategies innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for owning retention of user cohorts, minimizing churn and improving LTV: The core ownerships areas will be:
- Strategy: Work with team to determine a clear strategy for user Retention and lifecycle management
- Creative + Messaging: Work with creative team to design the messaging, content and creative angle for the engagement and revenue boosting campaigns
- Lifecycle Management: Work with teams to determine user lifecycle and take concrete steps for plugging the gaps - own Activation, Retention, Revenue and Referrals
- Execution: Should be hands-on in setting up campaigns and experiments, landing pages, emails etc.
- Monitoring on campaign impact: Daily monitoring and optimizing of the campaigns - win an inch everyday attitude
- Data obsession: Review the data daily to determine next course of action
- Scale: Build for scale
- Proven Experience in Driving Impact through Retention Strategy Development
- 3-5 years of experience in retention management, preferably in B2C or tech companies.
- Micro-Segmentation and Micro-Cohorting: Ability to independently create micro-cohorts based on user shopping and platform visit behaviors, optimizing target group sizes to reduce costs and improve ROI.
- Conversion Funnel Optimization: Proficiency in implementing A/B testing and experiment-driven approaches to improve funnel conversion, including ad copy, homepage features, discount offers, and gamified campaigns.
- ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) Improvement : Ability to increase ARPU through cross-selling, upselling, and ticket-size increase offers without necessarily changing conversion rates.
- ROI and Profitability Measurement: Competence in calculating ROI and profitability, including conversion rates, ARPU, AOV, and incremental profit for a retention campaign.
- Analytical Skills and Engineering Background: Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in SQL and experience using marketing automation platforms (e.g., Clevertap, MoEngage) to inform retention decisions.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Brand, UX/UI, Tech, Product, and Ops) under tight deadlines, handling competing priorities and achieving desired outcomes.
- Have complete exposure to build automation journeys / segmentation / personalization in Clevertap or similar tools.
- Data driven decision making- complete understanding of retention cycle & metrics & ROI.
- Proven project deliverables which drove ROI
- Should be from B2C industry
- Experience: 3-8 years of relevant experience.
- Communication: Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English | Can effectively express his/her thoughts | Great people skills
- Should be comfortable with tools like
- Clevertap or MoEngage
- Email Marketing
