NOW HIRING: Real Estate Underwriter We are seeking a skilled Underwriter to join our client's team, focusing on underwriting new potential real estate deals. The ideal candidate will support our Senior Financial Analyst in evaluating investment opportunities, with a preference for experience in manufactured housing or multi-family housing sectors. Work Schedule: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm EST, FULLY REMOTE Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in underwriting and evaluating new real estate investment opportunities, with a focus on manufactured housing and multi-family housing deals.
- Analyze financial data, property performance, and market trends to assess deal feasibility.
- Prepare detailed financial models, including cash flow projections, ROI analysis, and sensitivity testing.
- Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Senior Financial Analyst to review investment performance metrics and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Conduct due diligence on potential acquisitions, including market research, property inspections, and reviewing financial documents.
- Proven work experience in real estate underwriting, preferably with experience in manufactured housing or multi-family housing.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and real estate analysis tools.
- Understanding of real estate market dynamics and key financial metrics.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Prior experience in underwriting deals in the manufactured housing sector is highly desirable.
- Experience with real estate financial software is a plus.
