Job Summary Our respected client is seeking an experienced Sourcing Solutions Owner of the highest professional standing and will be reporting to Head of Solutions - Sourcing and will play a pivotal role in leading the ideation, development, implementation, and adoption of solution to our customers. Your primary duties will involve leveraging your expertise n procurement and data analysis to address compelling industry challenges and deliver innovative solutions. The job is in Taguig, Metro Manila , and offers a WFH/Remote work set up. Key Job Responsibilities:
- Understanding Customer Needs:
- Actively engage with customers to grasp and document their specific requirements, feedback, pain points, and desired outcomes.
- Utilize data insights to build business proposals that will address the key problems faced by our customers.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on key sourcing pillars, including but not limited to:
- Tenders
- eAuctions
- Category management
- Contract management
- Catalogue management
- Supplier management
- Solution Development & Recommendation:
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to provide valuable insights and recommendations to build ambitions as well as sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Account managers to document new business requirements to improve cross-sell or up-sell opportunities.
- Clearly define the problem statements and recommend creative ways to resolve those problems backed by robust justifications rooted in data analysis.
- Clearly communicate or present your go to market strategy to various stakeholders for approval.
- Project Management:
- Plan and execute the roadmap defined by you and the Head of Solutions.
- Developing user stories and defining acceptance criteria based on a clear understanding of stakeholder requirements.
- Implement value added solutions to our customers and meet adoption targets set by the company.
- Lead the training and change management efforts to both internal and external users.
- Team Managment :
- Manage a team of Solutions Specialists to achieve all strategic goals set by the company as well as the Sourcing Solutions Team.
- A Bachelor's / master's degree in supply chain or technology field.
- Minimum 7 years' experience in working for Sourcing and Procurement department (preferably in Maritime industry) and at least 2 years working on business process improvement projects.
- Proficient in effectively managing projects utilizing both waterfall and agile methodologies, with tangible expertise to showcase.
- Proven experience running sourcing events, maintaining contracts, managing suppliers, and updating pricelists in business systems (e.g., Jaggaer, Coupa, SAP, AMOS, DNV etc.)
- Experience of interpreting business requests and translating them to user stories.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of consistently delivering projects on time, on budget, and to high quality.
- Ability to plan and manage a complex workload and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
