Linux Developer (7 + Years of Linux OS development + Scripting + Yocto + Immediate Joiner Required )

Job Description: Linux OS Development for IOTG Platform Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, validate, and release software packages for various Linux distributions on Intel IOTG platforms.
• Create and manage custom Linux images for IOTG platforms, based on Debian/SNAP/RPM/recipes/SPEC packages.
• Identify and analyze CVE vulnerabilities, patch them from open-source sources, and submit pull requests for integration into custom Linux images.
• Integrate Intel-developed Linux-based applications, SDKs, and build custom device OS images.
• Optimize and build Linux OS images focusing on small footprint and fast boot time.
• Maintain and publish BKC (Bill of Knowledge) documenting package versions for respective IOTG platforms.
• Knowledge & Experience Requirements:
• Strong hands-on experience in Linux system software development, including build configuration and customization. Embedded Linux development experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with open-source development methodologies. Contributions to open-source projects are a plus.
• Experience in maintaining open-source projects or managing software packages is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, shell scripting, C/C++, Java, and JavaScript. Familiarity with Git as a source control system is required. Agile development experience is a plus.
• Expertise in one or more of the following areas: networking, toolchains, graphics, virtual machines (e.g., QEMU), security, application frameworks, sensor frameworks, container/cloud technologies.
• Experience with creating Debian/RPM packages or developing recipes using Yocto Project is a plus.
• Knowledge of containers and virtualization technologies is desirable.
