Outsell Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Market Intelligence Data Analyst with strong expertise in financial and company analysis. This remote role involves creating and maintaining accurate database records, conducting in-depth company research and analysis, and synthesizing findings into well-crafted charts and reports that influence strategic decisions. The Analyst will focus primarily on technology, data, and information services companies operating in the Scholarly Research, Healthcare, Pharma, and Education verticals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Management: Regularly update and maintain database systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements, stock performance, and market trends to assess company health and investment opportunities.
  • Company Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses of company fundamentals, competitive positioning, and market dynamics.
  • Report Preparation: Generate clear and comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing findings, with actionable insights tailored for both internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Research: Perform extensive secondary and online research to gather relevant data and insights. Stay informed about financial markets and industry trends to enhance research quality and relevance.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with team members across departments to align research activities and data requirements with business goals.
Job-Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 4-6 years experience in financial analysis, company analysis, and stock market research
  • 2-3 years experience working in, or serving, the Scholarly Research, Healthcare, Pharma, and Education verticals
  • Excellent skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with database management (we use in-house tools)
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
