Senior Operations Manager Johannesburg

Duties & Responsibilities

• Must be in the field of TES (Temporary Employment Services)
• Lead and oversee the Operations Supervisor to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations and adherence to company policies and standards.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with key clients, acting as the primary contact point and promptly addressing any concerns or issues.
• Actively participate in client presentations, negotiations, and strategic planning sessions, representing the company at various levels, including board meetings.
• Implement effective client acquisition strategies, utilizing prospecting, cold calling, and networking to expand the client portfolio.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of financial concepts, including rate adjustments, budgeting, and cost management, to enhance profitability and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with the Finance department to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and financial transactions, adhering to set deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal regulations and industry standards, such as the Labor Relations Act, Bargaining Council agreements, and Health & Safety regulations.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, effective communication, and professional development among team members.
• Provide leadership and guidance to internal teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Generate monthly reports and performance metrics for clients.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• While a degree is not mandatory, candidates must possess a minimum of 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Possession of relevant certifications in business management, HR, or related fields would be advantageous.
