Job details
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals
- Design and sell customised travel itineraries that meet individual travel preferences budgets and needs
- Provide expert advice on both Domestic and International travel destinations including visas and Travel Insurance
- Maximize sales opportunities through upselling cross selling and promoting our preferred partners
- Excel in Sales and have experience with reaching and exceeding Targets preferably within the Travel Industry
- Maintain accurate records and client details using our own operational systems
- Manage customer complaints in an efficient and professional manner
- Keep uptodate with industry trends
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- A minimum of 4 years in a Travel consultant sales focused role
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- The ability to work well under pressure whilst adhering to tight deadlines
- Experience in an GDS reservations system Sabre or Amadeus
- Good knowledge of popular travel destinations local and International
- The ability to work weekends and public holidays (rostered) when needed
- Ability to train a Jnr Staff member
