Financial Accountant, Charity, Location Flexible Our client is a large organisation in the not for profit sector with a global reach. They are seeking to appoint a Qualified Accountant due to an internal promotion. The role will manage a lot of the spend for overseas regions and work with teams on the ground to support across all areas of finance.
With an office based in Dublin City Centre the role can operate on a hybrid basis of 2 days in the office and 3 remote or if someone has worked within the sector may be based anywhere in the UK or Ireland on a remote basis. The Position The role will be responsible for a range of duties including:
- Preparation and review of financial management accounts (monthly and annual)
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial Analysis
- Review funding requests from each country
- Manage donor reporting
- Support and develop Finance teams on the ground globally
- Review and update finance policies and procedures
- Prepare meaningful reports and carry out ad hoc analysis as required
- Support the roll out of new financial systems and processes across the business
- Ongoing assessment of operational risks within the organisation
- Staff supervision
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA etc.)
- At least 2 years' experience in the preparation of monthly accounts
- Strong presentation and report writing skills
- Staff management experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
