Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. This mid-level role is ideal for someone who is passionate about fashion, has a strong understanding of social media platforms, and can translate our brand’s vision into innovative and engaging content. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of our social media presence, from content creation to community management, ensuring that our brand’s voice resonates with our audience. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Gipsy’s brand objectives and resonates with our target audience
- Produce visually engaging content, including images, videos, and graphics, that captures the essence of our brand.
- Write compelling and brand-consistent copy for social media posts, ads, and campaigns that resonate with our audience and encourage engagement.
- Conduct market research to understand our audience’s preferences, behaviors, and pain points, ensuring that our content is relevant and personalized.
- Analyze audience engagement and feedback to continuously refine our content strategy.
- Utilize your in-depth knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms to optimize content performance and engagement.
- Keep a pulse on the latest fashion and social media trends, integrating them into our content strategy to keep Gipsy’s brand fresh and relevant.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics, such as engagement rates, follower growth, and conversion rates, to inform future content and strategy decisions.
- Manage social media campaigns from start to finish, ensuring timely execution and collaboration with other team members when necessary.
- Coordinate partnerships with influencers and ensure timely delivery of collaborative content.
- Be proactive in identifying new opportunities for growth and engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in the fashion industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative content and successful social media campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- A deep understanding of our target audience and a passion for fashion.
- Adaptability to changes in the social media landscape, continuously learning and applying new skills to keep our brand competitive.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud considered an asset (Photoshop, Illustrator)
