Responsible for the accurate completion of any and all shipping and receiving tasks including but not limited to packaging, cleaning, sorting parts, and material handling.

- Preparing packaging materials and supplies such as boxes, tape, and labels.
- Packing items securely and appropriately, ensuring they are protected during shipping or transport.
- Checking the accuracy of orders and verifying that the correct items are being packed.
- Labeling and documenting packages according to shipping and customer requirements.
- Tracking and maintaining inventory levels of packaging supplies and materials.
- Communicating with shipping and logistics personnel to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Inspect packaging materials for defects or damage and report any issues to management.
- Operating equipment such as box cutters and sealing machines to prepare packages for shipping.
- Responsible for receiving and accepting deliveries of aircraft parts from suppliers or carriers, verifying the accuracy of the shipment against purchase orders or shipping manifests.
- Inspect the received parts for any damage, defects, or discrepancies.
- Documentation and record-keeping: accurately document all received parts, including their quantities, part numbers, serial numbers, and condition.
- Responsible for handling various paperwork associated with the receiving process, such as shipping documents, invoices, packing slips, or customs forms.
- Collaborating with other departments such as inventory and sales to coordinate shipping and order fulfillment activities.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including the proper disposal of packaging materials and waste.
- Responsible for preparing air waybills, which are the primary shipping documents for air cargo.
- Processing out AOG and will call orders, including communicating with sales, customers, and package collectors.
- Execute Hazmat shipments per regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Physical demands – Must possess mobility to work in a standard warehouse setting and work with and around a variety of equipment, parts, and inventory; strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium physical work; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone or radio.
- Education & Experience – Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade and one (1) year of experience in warehousing using automated inventory procedures.
- Personal characteristics – Employees are expected to maintain a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to be punctual daily.
- Licenses – Possession of or ability to obtain a Forklift Operator’s Certificate by the end of the probationary period.
- Experience with UPS/FEDEX online software is desirable.
- Familiar with proper packaging methods in line with ATA300 specification.
- Previous Hazmat training is desirable.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday with occasional weekend shifts.Other Duties
