Exciting Opportunity: Trainee Customs Broker – Hybrid Work Option Available! A well-established and highly regarded logistics company based in Cork is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Trainee Customs Broker. This role is offered on a 12-month temporary contract basis , with comprehensive training and full support provided to help you succeed. Key Responsibilities:
- Processing Import Customs Clearances
- Managing and overseeing customs-related transactions
- Addressing and resolving client queries regarding discrepancies
- Conducting audits of Import Clearances
- Maintaining accurate documentation for Revenue compliance
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience in customs, forwarding, administration, accounting, or finance within a busy office environment. Recent graduates with a relevant degree are also welcome to apply.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in IT, particularly with Excel.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English.
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced administrative setting.
- A positive mindset and a dedication to overcoming challenges.
