Food Service Manager Job Mayo A leading Food Retailer with a chain of shops is hiring for a number of management roles in their awardwinning business. A highly progressive retail group that recently opened a brand new state of the art shop is looking to hire for their flagship store in the heart of Co Mayo accessible from Sligo as well. We are seeking a passionate foodie supervisor or manager someone who can motivate and lead teams control stock and ensure standards are achieved at all times. Food Service Managers typically work early shifts but a fair and flexible roster is in place part of your training will require you to work all shifts to experience all areas of the Food Service business. The current role is a Fresh Food Service Manager running mainly the deli department but supports colleagues in other concessions as well but has the chance to evolve as this business has a great track record of promoting within. This is a busy operation with roughly 15 staff reporting to you people management organisational and communication skills are key to this role. Salary will be dictated based on suitable candidates experience betweena year salary. Full flexibility is required but typically early shifts. The ideal candidate for this Food Service Manager Job:
- Previous management experience working with fresh food
- Excellent customer service
- Strong organizational skills
- Be able to work both in a team and own initiative
- A good understanding of food safety and HACCP management
- Oversee the running of a busy deli food service area with fast food coffee dock kitchen area and seating area.
- Responsible for up to 810 staff members organising the workload directing work and ensuring tasks are completed correctly.
- Proper management of stock ordering
- Correct management of hygiene and HACCP records
- Maintaining the standards in line with company policies.
- Train staff members
