Your Role and Responsibilities This geography focused role serves as the face of marketing and communications to clients, sellers, business partners, analysts, and media. You are externally focused to bring the voice of the client and market insights into IBM. You're responsible for knowing and understanding IBM clients, partners, sellers, offerings, and the overall Saudi Arabia market trends including aligning IBM's vision to the local Saudi agenda of digital transformation and AI. As a Field M&C professional, you'll build market engagement plans in a geography to drive business pipeline and revenue objectives based on a deep understanding of clients, the local market and the kingdom's vision 2030. As a field marketer, you will:
  1. Design and execute local marketing and communications plans to support go-to-market strategies in the Saudi market, considering cultural nuances, local trends, and the unique needs of Saudi Arabian clients.
  2. Leverage knowledge of multiple tactics and marketing and communications activities in your plans, including live or virtual events, brand recognition, social media marketing, digital and email lead generation activities, and channel/partner marketing.
  3. Brief, enable, and collaborate with Sales, Clients, IBM Partners, and/or internal stakeholders in Saudi Arabia, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with local market needs and objectives.
  4. Measure, analyze, and report on the impact of marketing and communications activities in the Saudi market, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and drive business growth.
  5. Stay updated on local market trends, regulations, and competitive landscape in Saudi Arabia, ensuring that marketing strategies remain relevant and effective.
We offer a dynamic blend of personal flexibility and a thriving in-office environment. This role requires three days of in-office presence per week, with two days of remote work. Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  1. Experience in relevant markets creating and implementing successful marketing and/or communications plans, leveraging a range of tactics and technologies within budget, and on time.
  2. Ability to work with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  3. Ability to align to set goals and objectives, while being able to quickly pivot based on business needs.
  4. Understanding of technology products, sales cycles, and solution positioning.
  5. Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is preferred.
  6. Ability to leverage data to make market-aligned decisions to support go-to-market execution.
  7. Ability to craft clear briefs/communication to key stakeholders.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  1. Ability to think logically, to analyze pipeline and performance information and suggest corrective actions.
  2. Arabic speaker and writer.
