Summary of Responsibilities: The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below but not limited to these:

  • Act as a coordinator between the hotel and the FEHD.
  • Lead the FSMS team arrange the monthly meeting and chair the meeting.
  • Plan and implement the FSMS program.
  • Train employee in the food safety policies.
  • Conduct monthly internal hygiene inspection and report writing.
  • Assist in corrective actions.
  • Investigate food safety incidents and submit reports to the F&B Manager Executive Chef Resident Manager and/or General Manager of an individual hotel.
  • Ensure employees personal hygiene are maintained tiptop at all times.
  • Record keeping. Ensure all the temperature records are filled out correctly.
  • Arrange food samples for laboratory tests.
  • Accompany the auditor in the external audit.
  • Recruit induct and train Food Safety Officers.
  • Ensure cleanliness and appearance of all Offices Kitchens and related areas.
Qualifications :
  • Hold a Bachelors degree in Public Health / Food Science / Microbiology. 
  • 12 years experience required. 
  • Additional professional certificates in food safety training or other OSHA will be highly desirable.
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees 
  • Team Player
  • Ability to communicate in both English and Chinese orally and written form
  • Ability to work independently
