Job Title: Production Engineer Qualifications:
- Diploma (Mechanical), Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Mechanical)
- Develop and execute comprehensive production plans aligning with company policies and objectives.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets effectively.
- Coordinate with interested parties and external service providers as needed.
- Allocate work to team members, including welders, fitters, and shop-floor personnel.
- Visit customers and external service providers as required.
- Communicate top management decisions to the team and ensure proper implementation.
- Resolve team queries and provide necessary support.
- Identify and allocate required resources efficiently.
- Approve root cause analysis and corrective actions for NCRs and customer complaints.
- Analyze collected data and present insights to top management.
- Ensure timely closure of action points from MRMs and customer/third-party audits.
- Identify training needs and conduct relevant training for team members.
- Address team grievances and ensure a positive work environment.
- Review and approve indents for materials, capital items, and resources.
- Make decisions to ensure smooth and efficient process operations.
- Oversee the disposition of damaged or rejected items.
- Plan, monitor, and manage blasting and coating activities.
- Supervise servicing and maintenance tasks to avoid disruptions.
- Qualification: Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in production or manufacturing.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in production planning, welding, fabrication, blasting, coating, and QMS (Quality Management Systems).
- Leadership: Strong team management, task allocation, and grievance handling skills.
- Problem-Solving: Experience in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and NCR management.
- Communication: Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written skills.
- Attributes: Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering defect-free results while adhering to safety and company standards.
