The Store Manager plays a pivotal role in the retail environment, overseeing the daily operations of the store while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This position requires a dynamic individual who can lead a team, manage inventory, and drive sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, with a focus on achieving sales targets and enhancing the overall shopping experience for customers. The Store Manager will be responsible for creating a positive work environment that encourages employee engagement and productivity.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead store performance in compliance with operation standards, policies & procedures to achieve his KPI’s based on the company strategies.
  2. Close monitoring to business progress to achieve store sales budget and improve customer experience.
  3. Set action plans to modify performance and improve results to impact business outcomes positively.
  4. Highlight areas of development to work on rectifying with his team to ensure sales growth and increase footfall.
  5. Escalate any concerns that may impact business continuity negatively and work with his line manager to solve them in a timely manner to achieve the requested growth.
  6. Lead and motivate his team towards implementing the best standards through regular meetings and store walks to build a healthy productive culture.
  7. Provide his team with all the required tools to succeed and execute their roles efficiently through mentoring, coaching, and personal development.
  8. Encourage and reward high performance to motivate people to plan their careers and anticipate personal growth, promotions, succession planning, and talent pool nominations which will lead to business success.
  9. Manage cost effectively by managing expenses and labor cost to impact bottom line positively.
  10. Monitor key P&L lines to ensure increasing profitability and reduce losses to achieve business strategies.
  11. Create a healthy platform for his team to participate effectively and efficiently through fair treatment, performance monitoring, and highlight any behavioral or business shortfalls professionally to adopt the right culture in the store.
  12. Utilize manpower budget effectively and escalate any business requirements or issues to his line manager to ensure successful outcomes.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience in retail management or a similar role.
  2. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  4. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  5. Customer-focused with a passion for retail.
  6. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  7. Proficient in inventory management and sales reporting.
  8. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  9. Knowledge of retail software and point-of-sale systems.
  10. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
