Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor the implementation of the company operational environmental management plan, environmental policy, and practices through inspections and environmental awareness campaigns.
  2. Lead in environmental awareness at all levels of the organization through toolbox meetings on the impact of emerging environmental issues, whether legislative or best practices, on corporate, ethical, and social responsibility.
  3. Develop and implement CESMP, EMS Manual, and Environmental plan in execution of the project.
  4. Conduct and report environmental pre and post-construction walkover surveys.
  5. Deploy on-site to conduct an environmental gap analysis to meet NCEC/ESIA standard requirements.
  6. Coordinate with Sub-contractors, Project Managers, and Site Engineers about the implementation of the EMS Plan and continuous improvement, maintaining all associated EMS documentation.
  7. Direct, develop, and deliver environmental training programs to ensure employees' knowledge, understanding, and adherence to environmental regulations.
  8. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly environmental reports for ongoing projects and submit to the client.
  9. Develop the waste management on-site, collection, and disposal procedure in accordance with the demands of the national center of waste management (MEWA).
  10. Accountable for waste management on-site. Following the client's approval of the WMP, a waste management system awareness training was held on-site in front of the client by PMC.
  11. Conduct weekly meetings with subcontractor representatives and liaise with them to ensure variation in the scope or timing of the work that may impact the environment, workers, and local communities.
  12. Assess a contractor’s environmental performance in relation to the environmental management system 14001:2015 and report to the senior assurance department.
Skills:
  1. Speak English fluently.
  2. Preferably a holder of a professional certificate in the environmental field (IEMA, NEBOSH, EPA, ISO 14001, etc.).
