Roles and responsibilities

About the job How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Advise on financial contractual topics e.g., payment terms, cash flow calculations, price escalation, financing, foreign currency risk mitigation, payment securities, credit checks, financing guarantees, bonds etc
  • Advise on technical contractual topics e.g., scope, schedules etc
  • Draft/review general project correspondence (unless claims or disputes related and within scope of L&C, e.g. PE)
  • Super users of L&C deployed tools, standards, and templates such as collaboration agreements, NDA’s, MoUs, R&D agreements etc. Training to be provided by L&C; incl. strategy re simplifying measures.
  • Draft review, advise or approve contracts consistent with approved templates.
  • Draft & negotiate sub-contracting packages – in conjunction with Procurement & CPM. Liaise with L&C re specific Legal questions (after Procurement process has been followed)
  • General letter drafting, correspondence with consortium partners & customers.
  • Draft, review, advise on or seek approval of internal matters.
  • Perform general administration/archiving of project records and documents, time scheduling work & quantity surveying
  • Early warning notices, claims documentation gathering and handling commercial claims (outside litigation/arbitration/PE scope).
  • Maintain relationship with LC and LC PE for smooth and timely collaboration re required L&C support (legal advice/opinions/instructing ext counsel, prep claims that go beyond negotiation stage).
