Roles and Responsibilities: Assisting project managers & project engineers. Handling project documentation. Preparing small quotations. Coordinating with procurement & HR.

  1. Design and Development
    1. System Design: Design electrical systems and components for various projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards.
    2. Circuit Design: Develop and test circuit designs, selecting appropriate components for functionality and efficiency.
  2. Project Management
    1. Project Planning: Assist in planning electrical projects, estimating costs, and scheduling timelines for completion.
    2. Coordination: Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and contractors to ensure project alignment.
  3. Technical Analysis
    1. Feasibility Studies: Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of projects and recommend solutions.
    2. Problem-Solving: Analyze electrical systems for performance issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
  4. Compliance and Standards
    1. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that designs comply with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE).
    2. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of design processes, specifications, and compliance reports.
  5. Testing and Validation
    1. Prototyping: Build and test prototypes of electrical components to validate designs and performance.
    2. Performance Testing: Conduct performance tests and evaluations on electrical systems, making adjustments as required.
  6. Maintenance and Support
    1. Troubleshooting: Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues in existing systems.
    2. Maintenance Plans: Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure reliability and efficiency of electrical systems.
  7. Research and Development
    1. Innovative Solutions: Stay updated on emerging technologies and advancements in electrical engineering to drive innovation.
    2. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving designs and processes to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
  8. Team Collaboration
    1. Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers.
    2. Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns in electrical engineering practices.
Desired Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BE in Electrical)2 years’ experience in GCC Strong command over MS Office. Basic AutoCAD Skills / Other Relevant Software Documentation and document management skills. Basic estimation skills. Project Experience: Proven experience managing or contributing to electrical projects from conception to completion.

    1. Design Software Proficiency: Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, ETAP, or PSpice).
    2. Circuit Design: Strong knowledge of circuit design, analysis, and simulation tools.
  2. Analytical Skills
    1. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues.
    2. Data Analysis: Ability to analyze performance data and make data-driven decisions.
  3. Communication Skills
    1. Verbal and Written Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
    2. Technical Documentation: Ability to prepare clear and concise technical documentation and reports.
  4. Project Management
    1. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
    2. Budget Management: Experience in estimating costs and managing project budgets.
  5. Team Collaboration
    1. Cross-Functional Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with engineers from other disciplines, as well as with clients and contractors.
    2. Mentoring: Willingness to mentor junior engineers and interns.
