Job Overview

The Nursing Care Manager is responsible for managing daily clinical operations of nursing services, ensuring high-quality patient care across various departments.

Responsibilities

1. Manage daily clinical operations of nursing services, including OT, PACU, and ICU, ensuring high-quality patient care.
2. Monitor nursing caregivers' performance to maintain safe, timely, and effective patient care.
3. Provide direct nursing care and serve as a resource for handling critical illness, following BLS, ALS, and PALS guidelines.
4. Ensure accurate and timely nursing assessments, monitor patient conditions, and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote a patient-focused approach and act as a representative of nursing.
6. Handle patient complaints and provide feedback on satisfaction to nursing leadership.
7. Provide expertise in patient care, ensure adherence to safety standards, and offer educational support to nursing staff.
8. Oversee nursing rosters and shift patterns to meet patient needs while balancing staff requirements.
9. Facilitate clinical audits, evaluate new products, and ensure competency in using clinical equipment.
10. Ensure a safe, clean work environment and manage clinical records in line with infection control policies.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent degree, with a specialty qualification and master's degree preferred.
2. 7+ years of experience in a specialty area, with at least 5 years of nursing management experience.
3. Active Registered Medical License.

Estimated Salary
