The Nursing Care Manager is responsible for managing daily clinical operations of nursing services, ensuring high-quality patient care across various departments.Responsibilities
- Manage daily clinical operations of nursing services, including OT, PACU, and ICU, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Monitor nursing caregivers' performance to maintain safe, timely, and effective patient care.
- Provide direct nursing care and serve as a resource for handling critical illness, following BLS, ALS, and PALS guidelines.
- Ensure accurate and timely nursing assessments, monitor patient conditions, and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote a patient-focused approach and act as a representative of nursing.
- Handle patient complaints and provide feedback on satisfaction to nursing leadership.
- Provide expertise in patient care, ensure adherence to safety standards, and offer educational support to nursing staff.
- Oversee nursing rosters and shift patterns to meet patient needs while balancing staff requirements.
- Facilitate clinical audits, evaluate new products, and ensure competency in using clinical equipment.
- Ensure a safe, clean work environment and manage clinical records in line with infection control policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent degree, with a specialty qualification and master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in a specialty area, with at least 5 years of nursing management experience.
- Active Registered Medical License.
Estimated Salary
