Accountant ( Shipping )

Salla is looking for an accountant who is responsible for accounting, reconciliation, and reporting related to logistics operations, including revenue and cost management, billing, collections, and merchant compensations. Key Responsibilities:

1. Revenue Management:
   1. Accurately calculate logistics-related revenues.
   2. Reconcile revenues with invoices and resolve discrepancies.
   3. Record and monitor deferred revenue.
2. Cost Management:
   1. Reconcile vendor invoices with internal records.
   2. Process and record cost of goods sold (COGS) entries.
   3. Ensure timely payments to vendors.
3. Receivables Management:
   1. Generate and issue invoices for logistics partners as per agreements.
   2. Follow up on outstanding receivables and ensure timely collections.
   3. Maintain and update the aging analysis of receivables.
   4. Prepare detailed reports on collections and outstanding balances for management.
4. Merchant Compensation:
   1. Process merchant refunds and credit notes.
   2. Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve pending requests.
5. Cash on Delivery (COD):
   1. Reconcile COD collections with contractual terms.
   2. Ensure accurate recording and reporting.
6. Reporting and Reconciliation:
   1. Prepare periodic reconciliations for logistics-related transactions.
   2. Generate reports on billing, collections, and revenue analysis.
   3. Ensure records are audit-ready and compliant with accounting standards.
