Civil / Structural / HVAC Specialist (Onplot) - Oil & Gas SectorAre you an experienced Civil/Structural/HVAC specialist with a penchant for EPC projects within the vibrant and challenging sector of Oil & Gas? Our esteemed client in Doha, Qatar is on the search for a dedicated professional ready to embark on contract-based work that will not only leverage your expertise but also place you at the heart of some of the most critical engineering activities.MUST HAVEBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering8 years' experience in EPC projects, in civil/structural/HVAC discipline including detailed design and construction phases.Experience in Oil & Gas Facilities, especially LNG facilities and or large utilities systems.Knowledge in geotechnical, foundations design, drainage, precast concrete, steel structures.Demonstrable experience with HVAC control systems, airflow, refrigeration and chilled water commissioningExperience and understanding of HVAC interfacing systems and controls, including Fire and Gas SystemsRESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for overseeing Civil/Structural engineering disciplineProvide engineering surveillance on EPC civil/structural deliverables and provide clear guidance to the EPC Contractor and facilitate resolution of technical issues to complete civil/structural engineering activitiesAlso, responsible for overseeing the EPC Contractor in delivery of all aspects of HVAC design, including Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning & Completions activitiesManage EPC Contractor's Structural and HVAC activities including usage of appropriate design tools, including computer hardware and software;Manage the review of Civil/Structural and HVAC detailed deliverables in support of fabrication, construction and commissioning activitiesCommunicate Civil/Structural and HVAC performance through monthly engineering surveillance reportsIf this sounds like your next career move where you can apply both strategic oversight coupled closely aligned hands-on skills then we encourage applying immediately!
