About our clientOur client is a prestigious investment firm with a strong track record. They are looking for a portfolio management professional to join the portfolio management team, based in Doha. This team is responsible for coverage of the Americas team.What the job involvesReporting on the Americas portfolio performance and composition, along with their active deal pipeline and deployment.Monitoring market developments, investment themes, geographies, and asset classes.Preparing investment reports on investment strategies for the fund in the Americas and recommending portfolio allocation changes.Maintaining high-level oversight of major portfolio holdings, and regularly informing the Americas department on individual asset performance and any recent developments.Building and maintaining relationships with the fund's sector and fund teams.Liaising with teams to gain additional insights on holdings in the Americas portfolio.Contributing to ad-hoc research and strategic projects, overseeing external consultants where necessary.Who we are looking forExperience within an investment bank.Exposure to American markets is advantageous.A degree from a top-tier university, ideally with a master's focused on finance, business or an equivalent degree.Willingness and ability to be based full-time in Doha, Qatar.Ability and drive to learn and grow with the team.
