Director, operations

Job Title: Operations Director

Worley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts. We partner with customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their assets. We are looking for an experienced Operations Director responsible for overseeing operations of mega-size projects. The successful candidate will provide direction and leadership to encourage the effective completion of projects within a portfolio of work.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and improve portfolio management and delivery processes, systems, and tools to enable the delivery of customer objectives.
2. Implement portfolio key performance indicators and monitor performance, with a focus on value and continuous improvement.
3. Maintain an integrated view of the customers' objectives, leveraging synergies and resources across the entire portfolio.
4. Support customers in selecting and prioritizing projects in the portfolio.

Specific Accountabilities:

1. Leadership, development support, and coaching of CEO-5 Managers within the Function.
2. Demonstrate behavior and business practices commensurate with a culture of world's best health, safety, and environmental performance.
3. Ensure close functional connection and collaboration exists between the Location, Region, and Global disciplines to deliver world-class services and solutions to our customers and industry.

Essential Skills and Experience:

1. A full-time Bachelor Degree in any Engineering discipline from an accredited university.
2. Minimum 20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry related to Project Delivery, with a minimum of 10 years in a project management role.
3. Excellent people management skills such as leadership, team, interpersonal, coaching, mentoring, and supervisory skills.
