The Digital Media Manager is responsible for driving the company's media strategy, delivering effective campaigns, and contributing to the growth of the business. The role will lead a team. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Working with the Head of Digital for APAC to create and deliver a multi-channel digital media plan and strategy to achieve digital engagement and conversion goals for B2B and B2C audience across 12 markets in APAC.
  2. Own and manage >2mil GBP media budget across 12 different markets in APAC, ensuring budget use is well-optimised towards business goals and ROI.
  3. Leading a team of media experts to manage existing media partners including contracts and negotiation, and optimization towards ROI.
  4. Align and contribute to the goal of driving owned media channel contribution by optimising recruitment and digital media spend.
  5. Collaborate closely with the digital engagement team to deliver performance insights and contribute to the development of ideas to ensure a consistent and best-in-class customer journey across our media channels and websites.
  6. Establishing a process with media agencies to manage the media planning and buying process for BAU and adhoc campaigns including paid search, dynamic retargeting, and paid social.
  7. Work with media agency and global media manager to integrate any new AdTech stack and DMP.
  8. Work with global media manager to facilitate the transition of media agency partners, or agency/RFP review and to align media strategy and best practices across global and APAC.
  9. Ensure a robust test and learn plan to build a best-in-class media programme to constantly explore and trial new tactics.
  10. Work with CRM team to drive the use of 1st party data to run effective, targeted campaigns.
  11. Provide insights and consultation to marketing managers to shape marketing campaigns that are audience-driven and data-driven.
  12. Work with the digital engagement team to ensure smooth integration of any media channels.
  13. Manage direct reports responsible for the digital media management for their markets and the client-paid advertising programme.
  14. Be open to working outside of usual working hours to accommodate different time zones and ensure timely responses to regional or global requests.
The Successful Applicant The successful candidate is a digitally savvy individual with a proven track record of success in digital and media planning. Other requirements include:
  1. Fluency in English and an additional language is a plus (Mandarin or Japanese).
  2. 8+ years of experience in managing digital media campaigns (paid search, retargeting, and paid social) and budget.
  3. Ideally previous experience in Shared Services, and collaborating with global and local teams remotely.
  4. Superior project management skills and strategic thinking.
  5. Excellent project management capabilities to stay on top of detail, deliverables, and anticipate and propose solutions to potential roadblocks to keep activities on track.
  6. Experience working with the Google AdTech stack and understanding of digital analytics, GA4, and PBI preferred.
  7. Experience working in a media agency or with a media agency.
  8. Strong analytical skills and ability to provide strategic recommendations motivated by data.
  9. Experience working in an international multi-brand company with multiple stakeholders is advantageous.
  10. Problem-solving capabilities and a positive 'can do' attitude.
  11. Strong communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  12. Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
