Chief Engineer - Doha - SPHC

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance/Engineering Manager to oversee hotel operations, including maintenance and repair, while minimizing waste. The ideal candidate will have four years of experience in general building maintenance and/or construction or equivalent, with specialized expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
- Develop safe, efficient, and effective projects that align with company goals.
- Evaluate all costs associated with each project, including material, labor, and time expended.
- Produce and monitor budgets for all program activities.
- Support senior managers in operations and finance.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, quality and environmental standards, and company policies.
- Maintain safety on the worksite during development.
- Review and improve operations through continuous improvement activities.
- Participate in sustainability programs.
Requirements:
- Some college or advanced vocational training.
- Four years of experience in general building maintenance and/or construction or equivalent.
- Specialized expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields.
- Level 3 EPA Certification, HVAC and refrigeration certificate, licensed plumber and/or journeyman status for electrician and carpenter may be required.
