Procurement Director - Manama - Gulf Air Group

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced procurement leader to oversee our procurement activities and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. About the Role:

• Procurement Leadership: Manage procurement activities for goods and services across departments, ensuring timely and uninterrupted supply.
• Tender Management: Oversee the process of reviewing Request for Proposal (RFP) to be issued to suppliers for related tenders.
• Sourcing Strategy: Develop and implement a sourcing strategy that meets business needs while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and conditions.
• Supply Chain Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to ensure business continuity.
• Team Management: Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals to achieve business objectives.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Experience: At least 10 years of experience in procurement management, preferably in the Middle East region.
• Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to negotiate with suppliers, and knowledge of Bahrain Tender Law.
