The Role: National Asset Manager

Join our Transport team, consisting of more than 900 dedicated people across Australia and New Zealand. We provide integrated operations and maintenance services, project delivery, and technology solutions to owners and operators of essential road, motorway, tunnel, and rail networks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the New Zealand region by providing skilled technical and management advice to our Contracts and Bid Management Teams.
2. Collaborate to ensure excellence in Asset Management service.
3. Assist in the development and delivery of strategic asset management planning services and Asset Management systems and technology.
4. Identify new opportunities through client engagement and market Ventia’s Value Proposition to new and existing clients.

About You:

1. Highly motivated and results-driven with a strong internal and external customer focus.
2. Passionate about developing yourself and others around you.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Proven experience in Asset Management, particularly with Design Policy, Standards and Guidelines, and Annual Plan Funding Processes.
2. Strong communication and influencing skills to drive change.
3. Keen interest in Technology and Asset Management Tools (such as Junoviewer, RAMM, GIS).
4. Civil Engineering Qualification or similar.
5. Strong Health and Safety mindset.
