Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook South Indian dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure food quality and presentation meets the expectations of customers.
Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations.
Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and specials.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into dishes.
Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Cook specializing in South Indian cuisine.
Knowledge of traditional South Indian cooking techniques and ingredients.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Team player with the ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team.
Ability to adapt to changing menus and customer preferences.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Food safety certification is preferred.
