Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain accurate records of ship supplies and inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment and compliance.

Coordinate with suppliers and shipping companies to facilitate the procurement and delivery of maritime goods.

Assist in preparing shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs declarations, to ensure smooth clearance.

Handle invoicing and payment processes for suppliers to maintain positive relationships and timely transactions.

Communicate effectively with ship crew and management to identify urgent needs and prioritize supply deliveries.

Monitor and report on inventory usage trends to forecast future supply requirements and optimize stock levels.

Support the logistics team in planning and executing supply runs to various ports, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Desired Candidate Profile:

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.

2-3 years of experience in ship chandling, logistics, or supply chain operations, with a proven track record of efficiency.

Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages, especially those related to the shipping industry, is a plus.

Strong technical skills in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Excellent organizational skills combined with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Ability to work in high-pressure environments while maintaining a positive attitude and strong teamwork.
