Main Responsibilities:Lead and direct the development and implementation of the Operational Risk Management annual plan, ensuring alignment with the Risk Management department, mandate and Tarshid's vision, mission and strategic objectives.Lead the implementation of initiatives and activities aimed at achieving the goals set for the members of the Operational Risk team based on the annual plan.Review and recommend improvements related to Risk Management policy, target operating model, framework, and procedures to the Head of GRC.Lead the identification and analysis of operational risks related to the individual Departments as well as at Tarshid level.Lead the identification of the current controls in place to address each risk. Assess the control effectiveness and highlight gaps which need to be remediated.Lead the formulation of a comprehensive risk treatment plan, including, but not limited to, identifying the appropriate risk response strategy, assigning action items to specific owners and agreeing a set deadline for each action.Lead the process of identifying and analyzing risk-related indicators, such as key risk indicators, and preparing reports of violations, and submitting them to the concerned parties.Periodically review operational risks, their controls and associated treatment plans in coordination with the relevant stakeholders and provide update to the Head of GRC.Lead the recording and reporting of all the operational losses faced by Tarshid, related to operational risks in the Operational Loss Database on a quarterly basis.Contribute to the preparation of a strategy and an executive plan for risk management at the enterprise level.Contribute to the preparation and development of risk assessment and analysis criteria such as the level of risk occurrence, the level of risk effects, and the level of effectiveness of controls.Leadership:Manage, guide and support employees in the execution of their work and develop them to improve performance.Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate statements and reports to meet department requirements, policies, and quality standards.Lead the development and implementation of the annual training plan for Operational Risk section.Assist in the development and management of financial and human resource requirements (annual budget)Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to work and information.QualificationsBachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration or law, or any related fieldCertification in Risk Management from a well renowned international body (i.e. International Advanced Certificate), GRCP, or any related certificatesExperience & SkillsA minimum of 5 years of experience in a GRC role.Fluency in Arabic and English required; strong leadership and interpersonal skills; excellent communication skillsKnowledge of local and international laws and regulations affecting Super-ESCO; experience in Risk issues Analytical ability to evaluate different suppliers' offers
