The CS program contributes to create computational infrastructure and to develop and apply computational methods to a variety of areas, spanning all aspects of knowledge extraction from big data to achieve economic prosperity and improve the quality of life.All relevant research areas of Computer Science will be considered, including, but not limited to Artificial Intelligence (broadly scoped, including Natural Language Processing, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Robotics, Data Mining, etc.), Data Science and Big Data, Computer Systems and Networking, Future Computing Paradigms, Human-Centered Computing, Digital Twins and Smart Cities, Resiliency and Cybersecurity, High Performance Computing and Computational Biosciences.Candidates with portfolios that align with Saudi Arabia's national priorities for research, development, and innovation (RDI), namely, Health and Wellness, Sustainability and Essential Needs, Energy and Industrials, and Economies of the Future will be given the utmost priority.Due to the high volume of applications received, only those submitted through the online form will be considered. An earned PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, and a strong publication record in top-tier conferences and journals, are required. Senior candidates must have demonstrated strong leadership in the field.Women are particularly encouraged to apply.A successful candidate will be expected to teach courses at the graduate level and to build and lead a research group of postdoctoral fellows and graduate students.
