Job Title: Purchasing Specialist Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for purchasing high-quality merchandise at the lowest possible price, while maintaining healthy stock turns and implementing ongoing liquidation plans. Key Responsibilities:

1. Purchase high-quality merchandise at the lowest possible price
2. Plan, forecast, and report on sales and business performance, according to category requirements
3. Control line or family budgets (Sales, Profitability, and stocks)
4. Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives, and monitoring local competition
5. Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history
6. Review catalogs, industry periodicals, directories, trade journals, and Internet sites, and consult with other department personnel to locate necessary goods and services
7. Attend meetings, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential suppliers
8. Write and review product specifications, maintaining a working technical knowledge of the goods or services to be purchased
9. Monitor changes affecting supply and demand, tracking market conditions, price trends, etc.
10. Tour the sales floor regularly, talking to sales associates and customers, and identifying or resolving urgent issues

1. Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
2. Buying retail experience (Not less than two years in the same position)
3. Arabic and English proficiency
4. Strong computer skills
5. Age less than 30 years
