Job Description: What you will be doing:
  • Reporting to the Director of Sales, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Enhancing the current sales effort by providing administrative support to the department
  • Generating leads and assisting in converting to sales, consistently making cold calls
  • Pursuing new accounts every week, spending minimal time in the office
  • Maintaining consistent verbal and written communication with clients
  • Making onsite and field presentations to prospective clients, attending trade shows, and participating in sales blitzes
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Attending all required briefings/meetings as required by the DOS/GM
  • Collecting and analyzing relevant information for better results
  • Working effectively with Rooms, Recreation, F&B, and Banquet departments
  • Participating in the local community to develop business
  • Demonstrating clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Instilling a calm, organized approach in all situations
  • Demonstrating team-building experience
  • Evaluating alternatives and deciding on a plan of action
  • Adhering to company standards and policies
  • Analyzing financial information to assist in decision-making
  • Preparing a sales action plan and implementing it per the due dates specified
  • Ensuring pro-activeness in planning, executing sales, and action plans
  • Being flexible with varying schedules and hours as required by the business needs of the hotel
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by superiors
Your experience and skills include:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred
  • At least one (1) year of industry sales experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Good communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic
