Travel Research: Conduct thorough research on various travel options, including destinations, transportation, hotels, tours, and attractions. Booking Facilitation: Facilitate bookings for tours, flights, cruises, coaches, accommodations, rental cars, and other travel arrangements. Client Advisory: Offer insightful advice to clients on travel-related matters, including visa requirements, insurance options, and health considerations. Itinerary Crafting: Develop personalized itineraries that align with client preferences and budgetary constraints. Reservation Management: Arrange reservations for restaurants, tours, and activities to enhance the overall travel experience. Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns. Documentation Management: Maintain meticulous client files and efficiently manage travel documents. Industry Awareness: Stay informed about the latest industry trends, promotions, and innovative travel products to provide clients with the best options available. Ad-hoc Duties: Undertake any other duties as assigned by the company. Position Requirements/Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess: Educational Background: Certification or training in travel planning, such as a degree or diploma in travel and tourism, or relevant work experience (preferred). Technical Skills: Familiarity with computer reservation systems such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo, along with proficiency in travel-related software applications and tools. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin. Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities. Work Environment: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Flexibility: Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays, and attend travel fairs and industry events throughout the year. Leadership Capability: Capability to lead overseas tours as a tour leader. Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Physical Demands: This position may require extended periods of sitting or standing, along with light lifting and carrying of travel documents and materials.
