JUNIOR INTERNAL SALES CONSULTANT

Reporting to: Sales Director/Regional Manager

Location: Kew, Johannesburg

Salary: R10 – R11k per month + Commission

Starting Date: 15 January 2024

Type: Permanent Intermediate position

Our client is seeking an energetic and results-driven Internal Sales Representative to join our team in the display and promotional industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales leads, building relationships with existing clients, and promoting our range of display and promotional products to achieve sales targets.

*Key Responsibilities:*

Sales and Business Development:

  • Generate new sales leads through outbound calls, emails, and follow-up on inquiries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base.
Product Knowledge and Promotion:
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our display and promotional products.
  • Promote products to clients, highlighting features, benefits, and applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity.
Quotations and Orders:
  • Prepare and send quotations to clients.
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products to clients.
Customer Service:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to resolve queries and concerns.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication.
Sales Administration:
  • Maintain accurate sales records and reports.
  • Update system with sales activities, leads, and client interactions.
  • Meet sales targets and contribute to team sales goals.
*Requirements:*

  • Education: Grade 12.
  • Relevant qualification will be an advantage.
  • Experience: 2+ years in sales, preferably in the display and promotional industry.
Skills: o Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

o Proven sales and business development skills.

o Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.

o Strong organizational and time management skills.

o Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Personal Attributes: o Results-driven and motivated.

o Positive attitude and resilience.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
