About the Job: HCL Application Security group (AppScan) is looking to grow our product development team delivering the next generation of Application Security products. We are looking for DevOps professionals, with expertise in cutting edge automation and CI/CD tools with 6 to 10 years of experience The Application Security group is part of the HCL Software group, leading HCL Application Security portfolio. HCL AppScan is the industry leader in Application Security testing, triage and remediation, providing a variety of analysis techniques (static, dynamic, interactive AST), enterprise application security management, and client-side tooling integrating into a variety of modern DevOps pipelines. Required Technical and Professional Expertise: -• Minimum 7 years of substantial software DevOps with development experience/Hands-on in source controlled / change managed software projects. Demonstrated experience in Python, Shell scripting, automation, command-line environments. • Experience to Agile methodology and DevOps frameworks/concepts Experience with open-source technologies and proficient with GitHub Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply those technologies to solve complex problems. Experience with Github/Jira/Teraform/Ansible/Azure/Aws/GCP/SRE Demonstrated communication skills in a team environment. Experience and knowledge in developing and modernizing CI/CD pipelines (such as Jenkins, Travis, Buildbot, Ansible and similar) to build and deploy complex software systems • Knowledge or experience of compiler construction/build/development, Demonstrated experience in C++, C# (like) languages, Perl, Python or Go., Proficiency in general Linux/UNIX command-line operations, understanding of package managers, filesystems, network mounts and troubleshooting concepts. • Contribution or participation in large scale multi-developer software projects and deployment. Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Working experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, podman, Kubernetes and OpenShift. Cloud Infrastructure, Virtual Machines, Azure Database and storage technologies (Storage Accounts, SQL Server, Cosmos DB), Virtual Networks, Azure Site Recovery, Traffic Manager, Azure Automation, ARM Templates, Azure Load balancer, API Gateway and Azure AD.
