Senior Software Tester

We’re looking for Senior Software Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will lead testing efforts, mentor junior testers, and collaborate closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects. Your expertise in testing methodologies, tools, and processes will contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development life cycle. Core Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans, test cases and Execute test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Perform Accessibility, Cross browser, Responsive testing.
• Execute Performance testing using Jmeter, Blazemeter
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing Projects to meet client needs
• Coordinate with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• SDLC/STLC, Agile Framework, Agile Ceremonies
• Should be good in effective communication and client handling skills
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools, processes and strategies
• Requirements
• Excellent knowledge of Manual Testing concepts and skills.
• Hands on Experience in testing Web based Applications.
• Good knowledge of Software Development life Cycle (SDLC)and Software Test Life cycle(STLC)
• Extensive knowledge in Functional, Smoke, Integration, System Testing.
• Good Knowledge of Writing, Execution and Reviewing of Test cases
• Good Knowledge of white box testing and Black box testing-Smoke, Functional, Integration, System, Performance, Browser Compatibility, Usability, Accessibility, Adhoc Testing
• Experience with gathering requirements, reviewing requirement specifications, developing test plans and defining testing strategies.
• Good to have knowledge on Content Management Systems ideally Sitecore/Drupal will add values
