Position Description The Key Account Manager will be responsible and accountable to drive the Life Science business in Saudi Arabia Direct Accounts, develop the market, and grow the sales of the LS products. As an Account Manager of Life Sciences, you will be responsible to:

  1. Promote and sell QIAGEN Life Sciences portfolio in the academia and governmental institutes across the country.
  2. Build up the required connections network (KOLs) within the region and develop relationships with current QIAGEN clients.
  3. Customer Management, visits, plans, strategies, strategic deals, satisfaction, business securing, open new doors for new products matching QIAGEN KPIs and objectives.
  4. Implement all the plans and strategies communicated by the management.
  5. Achieve the Marketing and Sales financial objectives.
  6. Utilize the CRM system of the company to increase Sales Intelligence, create the needed database, and funnel management.
  7. Ensure maximum alignment with other support cross-functional units to deliver the best results.
  8. Establish market analysis studies and accounts mapping.
  9. Prepare the Annual Budget, Action Plans, and Business Development initiatives by utilizing the implemented tools of the company.
  10. Run business review meetings and calls, strategies alignment, technical support, solve financial issues, and guarantee to deliver the required results in view of the placed budget.
  11. Plan and execute the new products launching in the territory.
  12. Constructively handle all clients' complaints and after-sales requirements.
Position Requirements
  1. Master's degree in molecular biology or molecular genetics is preferred.
  2. BSc degree with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a life science field.
  3. High knowledge in molecular biology; DNA & RNA sample preparation, (q)PCR products, digital PCR Technology, PCR Set-up and liquid handling, Quality Control & Fragment Analysis and Next Generation Sequencing.
  4. Sales experience in Life Science business in Saudi Arabia, especially universities.
  5. Strong experience in sales operations.
  6. Strong desire to win business and establish long-term customer relationships.
  7. Excellent communication skills.
  8. Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  9. Self-motivated and self-driven with the ability to work in a team.
  10. Ability to travel 70% of the working time.
  11. Expert in using CRM systems, i.e., Salesforce.com.
  12. Advanced knowledge and experience with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  13. Negotiation skills.
  14. Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
  15. Data analysis skills.
  16. Ability to solve practical job-related problems.
