The Procurement Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing procurement operations. This key position involves developing procurement strategies, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and operational efficiency.
  2. Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
  3. Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  4. Implement the procurement process, including requisition, sourcing, purchasing, and delivery.
  5. Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
  7. Maintain and update procurement databases and records.
  8. Communicate and liaise with shareholders, business partners, government authorities, etc., and be responsible for scheduling meetings, submitting relevant documents, etc.
  9. Provide general administrative support to the commercial team.
  10. Handle other tasks assigned by the leader according to regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Degree in Business Administration.
  2. High level of verbal and written English and Arabic communication skills.
  3. Minimum 3 years experience in procurement within the exploration/mining industry.
  4. Strong capability in negotiation and analytical skills, enabling effective communication, and strategic decision-making.
  5. Experience in the preparation and control of budgets.
  6. Knowledge of compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards to protect the organization from legal and financial risks.
  7. Familiarity with procurement regulations and practices of Saudi Arabia.
  8. Previous experiences working in Saudi Arabia.
  9. Business Management Training Skills and Development.
