Assistant Accounts Manager (Shipmanagement Co./Shenton Way)

Job Responsibilities: Maintain a complete set of books, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Prepare comprehensive quarterly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements, corporate tax reports. Conduct regular financial analysis and generate reports to support business decisions. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process to ensure compliance. Liaise with bankers and oversee head office reporting requirements. Lead and mentor the accounting team. Oversee and manage GST reporting to ensure timely and accurate submissions. Ensure compliance with corporate and personal tax regulations, timely preparation and submission of tax returns and liaise with tax authorities. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or in a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations. Proven ability to maintain a full set of books. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to work independently. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders, both written and verbal.
