The workAs Cargo Industry Consulting Lead (Associate Director), you will oversee all client strategic projects supported by a consulting team and in collaboration with the data analytics team. You will work on data-driven consulting projects such as:Cargo Network Planning & Fleet Strategy / AssignmentCargo Partnership and Alliance Strategy and EvaluationCargo Annual / Quarterly Sales and Budget PlanningCargo Allocation PlanningCargo Revenue Boost for airlinesMarket Share Evaluation for an airport or air cargo carrier or express integratorAirport benchmarking study from a cargo perspectiveYou will drive the business development of the consulting activities and support the commercial team on developing the Products subscription and on developing the Products roadmap with insights you will gather from your client-facing role. You will also contribute to cargo industry thought leadership content creation that provides cargo industry strategic insights.ResponsibilitiesClient projectsAccountable for client project delivery.Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the development of the consulting activities (pre-sales activities, opportunity development from origination to closure).Develop C-level cargo industry relationships with targeted clientsSupport the commercial team on market insights / data analytics for the development of the Products subscriptions.Acts as a subject matter expert for the Products, collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams involving those from commercial, legal, IT, and the data analytics team working on different products within the Accenture Cargo Advisory team.Support on thought leadership content creation to be shared with industry stakeholders.Gather continuous feedback from client interactions through client project, pre-sales workshops and training to provide insights for the Products development roadmap.Team developmentLead the consulting team; meet targets under tight deadlines; and foster a collaborative team environment.Manage continuous development and growth of the consulting team.Review and evaluate analysis conducted by team members to ensure accuracy, quality and relevance to clients.Encourage and support career development and growth, provide and facilitate training opportunities.Who we areIn today's world, business leaders want to rapidly and confidently reinvent to increase resilience, mitigate risk, and grow with sustainable value. Part of this practice, the consulting group is a close-knit team committed to deliver high impact results for their clients. The team takes a rigorous analytical approach to all strategy projects to help top tier clients (e.g. leading airlines, major airports across the globe, freight forwarders, ocean carriers, large shippers) make sound business decisions in the challenging aviation industry on a broad range of topics such as network and fleet optimization, sales steering, growth investment plan and roadmap.The consulting team is working in close collaboration with a data analytics team that is responsible for providing leading industry databases and analytical tools to their clients, including comprehensive air and express cargo demand & supply databases, forecast and optimization tools. This team operates from offices in Europe and APAC and aims to provide industry leading market intelligence products and top-class customer service.Here's what you'll needMaster's degree with a strong academic record from a top tier institution.11+ years of relevant experience in the air cargo industry is a must, especially on network design & strategy, fleet sizing, mid-term cargo optimization and revenue management / pricing.8+ years of strategy consulting experience including sales and business development activities and thought leadership content creation.Existing network with air cargo industry's C-levelsPrior experience of leading a team of consultants in cargo industry projects.Strong analytical thinking & problem-solving skills.Strong (internal and external) stakeholder management skills.Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.Willingness to travel internationally.Experience on Data & AI is a plus, including macro-economic data analysis, forecasting and network optimization.What's in it for you?Accenture is a global company with a world-class brand and reputation.
