Senior Fire Safety Manager cum Work Place Safety Officer WSHO

Job Responsibilities Prepare and conduct routine inspections at the various premises at client site in compliance with Fire Safety / WSH related acts. Plan, coordinate and oversee activities related to fire-safety, emergency response, first-aid and business continuity. Investigate, analyze, report and suggest appropriate prevention measures in the event of incidents/accidents that occur on site. Prepare and implement WSH/EHS risk assessment/management and safe work procedures in accordance with MOM regulations and code of practice with the team. Conduct investigations of WSH infringements and workplace accidents, and recommend remedial actions. Conduct safety-related training and briefing for clients, sub-contractors, and staff. Conduct WSH induction for clients, sub-contractors, and staff. Audit equipment, machinery, and assets regularly to ensure that they are in good working condition and equipped with safety protection. Assess and analyze potential risks and make recommendations when new/second-hand equipment and machinery are purchased for use. Ensure that risk assessments for all work activities are conducted and briefed, and propose recommendations and review them when necessary. Assist with HQ Safety Department to liaise with MOM on site WSH issues. Advise the Team and Manager on WSH and Fire safety related matters. Job Requirements Diploma/Degree in any Engineering discipline/Building/Safety & Health/Environment related or any equivalent. Candidate must possess Senior Fire Safety Manager certificate. At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Singapore. Registered WSH Officer with MOM. Recognized certificate in Senior Fire Safety Manager or equivalent and successful registration with SCDF as qualified SFSM. Management/Building services or equivalent with WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) and bizSAFE level 2 certificate. At least 3 years of relevant experience in managing similar facilities. Good knowledge in emergency preparedness, mitigation, and response.
