Sales Consultant

Who would suit this role?

We are looking for someone who is confident in getting out there and using your excellent communication and relationship building skills to gain new business and achieve sales targets. Naturally, your customer service skills will be second to none and your down-to-earth, friendly approach wins your customers over every time!

What does the role entail?

1. Maintaining and growing the damaged vehicle business.
2. Developing and maintaining through regular contact, sound and positive relationships with key clients and other vendors and customers, and ensuring revenue objectives and agreed services are achieved.
3. Being part of a strong team to ensure delivery of excellent customer service.
4. Assisting other staff with pre-, during and post-auction activities as required, including the effective setup and smooth running of all auctions, meeting and exceeding primarily seller customer needs but also buyer needs, and ensuring our obligations for customers (and other staff and visitors) are met in terms of the Health and Safety in Employment Act.
5. Assist with yard operations and forklift duties where required.

What do we need from you?

1. NCEA Level 3 English and Maths or equivalent.
2. Sound knowledge of the Automotive Industry and good knowledge of vehicles.
3. Previous experience in an Operational Support/Sales role.
4. Legal right to work in NZ as defined by Immigration NZ.
5. Workplace First Aid Certificate or equivalent.
6. Driver’s License.
