Internal Communications Advisor (6-month Fixed Term) Do you want to help shape internal communications and put your good judgement, great communications skills and innovative ideas into practice? This role is a 6-month fixed term based in Wellington. Reporting to the Manager Communications your focus is leading our Internal Communications function. You'll build strong relationships with Corporate Services, Chief Executive's Office and Business Groups. Your team includes Senior Communication Advisors who are responsible for leading and delivering strategic communications and engagement activities. We see you bringing strong technical and written internal communication skills to the role and team. Mōhou ake | About you We want to hear about any of the following in your cover letter and CV:
  • About your knowledge and experience, or willingness to learn about Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Tikanga, Te Reo and Te Ao Māori.
  • Examples of key relationships you've built and how and why relationships are important.
  • Where you've demonstrated initiative and leadership, e.g., led by example, demonstrated problem solving, owned a project or piece of work, spoken up for yourself or others.
  • Experience in a similar role that included a large component of internal communications.
  • Experience using MS365 intranet and performing internal communications tasks.
  • Understanding of the machinery of government and related processes and procedures.
