Senior Web Developer

Penta Squad is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - MERN with expertise in back-end development, server management, and website maintenance. The candidate will ensure platform security and oversee all technical aspects of websites and systems. Experience in app development is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack, with WordPress & Shopify customization experience.
2. Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with React.js and develop server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js.
3. Optimize application performance, scalability, and manage hosting for optimal server performance.
4. Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
5. Mentor interns and conduct workshops on web development best practices.
6. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while troubleshooting and debugging issues.
7. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. 3-5 years of experience in web development with a focus on the MERN stack, WordPress, and Shopify.
3. Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a solid understanding of React.js.
4. Experience with Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
5. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs.
6. Experience in conducting training sessions and mentoring interns.
7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
