Our Raffles Wellbeing Butlers can arrange a variety of bespoke treatments, cultural immersions, and personalized activities, to provide the ultimate experience on the Island of the Gods.Job DescriptionJob PurposeTo support the Director of Spa & Wellbeing in managing the operations (SPA, The Shop, Fitness Centre and Wellness in the entire Resort) by ensuring product quality standards are met and that optimum service is provided to all hotel guests according to the resort's and business objectives. Ensuring the facilities and treatments offered continually exceed guest expectations.The Director of Spa & Wellbeing would be accountable for managing the budget, forecasting revenue and expenses, capital expenditure, and supporting the Wellness program, as well as maintaining all regulatory requirements.Liaise and work alongside team members from other departments at all times to provide the best service and Resort experience, as well as to maintain connections with outside vendors and trainers to provide wellness and wellbeing activities for our guests.General DutiesResponsible for the operation of the Spa & Wellbeing department (including SPA areas, The Shop, Tennis Court, classes, activities, etc.) by ensuring overall condition and maintenance of the property is well maintained, including repair and upkeep of furniture, fixtures, equipment, installations, systems, and buildings of the Spa, Wellness, and Fitness Area.Manage and organize Fitness and Wellness areas, including the Tennis Court, with the mission to ensure the Wellness and Wellbeing of all guests in the Resort, accomplished within the scope of a budget and in conformity with well-defined management norms.Manage and organize the Retail Shop to ensure the area is well stocked and maintained at all times with a focus on the Wellness and Wellbeing of all guests in the Resort.Support the operation as Spa receptionist/admin and assist guests with Fitness and Daily activities whenever needed.Responsible for planning, directing, controlling, coordinating, and participating in the events (activities, classes, programs, retreats, etc.) of all personnel engaged in Wellness and Wellbeing activities.Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the Spa areas and The Sanctuary areas by ensuring all cleanliness (neat and tidy), safety, and uncompromising attention to all guests.Hotel Safety and SecurityResponsible for hotel safety and fire standards, ensuring regular checks, and that safety standards and emergency procedures are implemented in the team.Support regular fire drills in cooperation with the security department.On-call 24/7 availability given the nature of the position and the importance of Safety and Security towards colleagues, guests, and assets.QualificationsKnowledge and ExperienceDiploma or Bachelor Degree in a relevant subject.Minimum of 3 years experience in Spa and Wellness in a Luxury Property.Expert in Fitness and able to coach Tennis.Expert in conducting classes (Yoga, Pilates, Meditation, Zumba, Tai Chi, other classes).Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.Knowledge of body muscles is a must.Body fit and proper is a must.CompetenciesIn-depth knowledge of Fitness activities, and related knowledge.Proficient in various bodywork techniques.Able to be a tennis coach.Able to engage with guests in a hospitable manner.
