The Position is responsible for all preventive and corrective maintenance activities onshore for all Control Systems to safeguard technical integrity and optimize life cycle cost with a focus on minimizing risk.Closely work with fellow workers and other departments to accomplish effective cross-discipline knowledge.This is an engineer level role that requires independent decision-making on technical matters onshore, with supervision from the Lead C&I on critical decisions.This role is responsible for reviewing and optimizing the maintenance strategy for instrumentation and controls, reporting and suggesting areas for improvement to the Lead C&I.The engineer is accountable for sending daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Lead C&I, including alarm management, bad actors, and equipment performance reports.Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards set by the company policies and procedures to ensure safe operation offshore.Drive daily instrumentation and controls maintenance activities, including routine and non-routine, breakdown, and planned shutdown. Coordinate planning/scheduling of maintenance plans.Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and assistance in planning and coordinating work for the Maintenance Department. Work with maintenance and operations on reliability issues when they occur.Manage materials, vendors, contracts, and ensure the contractor fulfills their contractual obligations.Review daily alarm reports and alarm system performance and prepare weekly reports and bad actor reports to the Lead Instrument.Review maintenance strategies and plans to ensure proactive and mandatory maintenance activities are continuously improving overall plant availability within an optimized budget and staffing levels.Review information in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and update accurate details of equipment issues/failure history to avoid incorrect information recorded in the CMMS.Responsible for conducting Root Cause Failure Analysis reports on equipment failures to eliminate or mitigate consequences.Ensure plant integrity through the development and implementation of Instrument Maintenance Strategies & Acceptance Standards based on applicable international standards and statutory requirements.Coordinate cross-department activities and initiate management of change (MOC) requests to cover obsolescence and reliability issues.Responsible for WHM control system.Minimum Requirements:BS degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, or Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.At least 10 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems within oil and gas.Desired Candidate ProfileEducation: Bachelor of Technology/EngineeringGender: nmNationality: Any Nationality
