If so, you may be our community manager. About us: The Tonomy Foundation is a non-profit Dutch foundation that practices radical transparency. We are building technology for democratic and autonomous governance of ecosystems in industry, government, and communities. Project Pangea: Pangea is a virtual nation built on Web 4 technologies to enhance interactions and transactions across digital infrastructure and beyond. It is a unique upgrade to Web 3 with an innovative digital platform for collaborative governance at multiple scales. In the evolving landscape of digital economies, Pangea's platform is transparent, facilitating business practice, legal entity creation, and equitable financial systems. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage community engagement strategies on platforms like Discord, Telegram, Twitter, Reddit, and other online communities.
  • Create engaging content, social posts, articles, guides, etc to educate and excite the community and also resonate with the community.
  • Monitor discussions, posts, and chats and respond to community questions and concerns from the audience promptly and thoughtfully.
  • Organize and host live AMA (Ask Me Anything) sessions, webinars, and other interactive events to boost community involvement and product awareness.
  • Gather community feedback and provide insights to the product and development teams to help shape product development and marketing strategies.
  • Use analytics tools to track engagement and effectiveness of community initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed. 
  • Broadcast company blogs, articles, and marketing promotions to support community growth.
  • Manage community conflicts and handle sensitive issues with professionalism.
Qualifications:
  • In-depth understanding and proven experience as a community manager or similar role in the cryptocurrency/blockchain focus or a startup, technology or crypto business.
  • Experience with W3 is a must, and having expertise in graphic design will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with social media management and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relational skills, capable of wearing many hats.
Nice to have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience managing active online communities in crypto.
