Senior Accountant
We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to assist in planning and completing financial, compliance, and operational audits.Key Responsibilities:
- Innovate and recommend new ideas to develop management processes and improve company compliance with IFRS, Governmental laws, and regulations.
- Compile financial information for journal entries.
- Analyze financial information for financial statements, including monthly and annual reports.
- E nsure financial reporting deadlines are met.
- Ensure accurate and efficient monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
- Establish and monitor accounting control procedures.
- Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
- Oversee financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process.
- Discuss and agree on findings/recommendations with process owners or Management.
- Reconcile bank accounts.
- Graduate or equivalent in Finance.
- Minimum 3 years of prior experience as an Accountant, preferably in the Healthcare field.
- Knowledge of Bahrain Financial Regulatory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Tally.
- Knowledge of computer applications and operations (including Microsoft Excel).
- Good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills (both oral and written).
